Artisan Water-Mixable Oil Color provides all the characteristics expected from conventional oil color-High pigment strength, a high proportion of single pigments, and variable opacity. The key difference is the ability to be mixed with water even though they are made with traditional oil binders.

The Artisan film is similar to a conventional oil film in solvent resistance, yet remains slightly softer than conventional colors, offering increased flexibility. Your canvas can flex with changes in temperature and humidity; this paint film will go along with it to better resist cracking or lifting.

Due to a pigment shortage of PR206, we have replaced Winsor & Newton colours that had PR206 with PR179 to obtain the closest equivalent colours to the previous offering. All the series numbers, lightfastness, transparency rating, and product codes remain unchanged.
