Open Coptic binding allows the book to lay flat!

Each SoHo Open Bound Sketch Book features 65 lb. (100gsm) paper stock and an open binding with visible stitching. Sometimes referred to as Coptic binding, the signatures are stitched in a way that allows the book to open completely. Sketchbooks using heavier weight paper usually don't lay flat, so this type of binding is perfect for sketching. Available in white, kraft, or grey paper, SoHo Open Bound Sketch Books are great for virtually all dry media and most writing instruments. Use the book as a journal for your thoughts and ideas or remove sheets using a precision craft knife for framing.
