Prepare the POSCA Marker:
Shake the marker energetically up and down with the cap on the pen. You will hear the ball inside, clicking announcing that the paint color inside the POSCA marker is being mixed. Press the tip several times on a spare piece of paper until the tip is filled with paint. Test the flow on a scrap of paper, if the line is clear, your marker is ready. It is useful to keep a cloth at hand to clean the tip easily or absorb any excess paint.
Re-Prime:
If the paint flows less freely during use, replace the cap and shake the marker again. If necessary, you can clean the removable tip under the tap as often as you want. If the removable tip gets very dry, you can even leave it to soak in water overnight.
If the tip becomes damaged. It can be turned around or even replaced with a new tip bought separately.
Storage Conditions:
POSCA markers can be kept in any position as long as the cap is firmly put back on after use. POSCA should be kept horizontal if possible.

POSCA markers contain highly pigmented water-based acrylic paints. The paint is highly opaque, quick-drying, lightfast, and non-toxic. POSCA Paint Markers are blendable when wet and can be diluted with water to create a gradient effect on almost any surface. Thanks to its fast-drying time, you can layer colors on top of each other. The pen has a valve mechanism that allows for a tight paint seal. Before each use, you can shake the ball inside the barrel to prime the marker.
