An Innovative Pastel Panel That Is Archival, Sturdy, And Lightweight

Multimedia Pastel Panels 6" x 8", Black, Pack of 10

Multimedia Pastel Panels 6" x 8", Black has a proprietary ground formulation that is silk screened directly on to the panel to create a consistent working surface. The panel is lightweight yet rigid, non-warping, dimensionally stable and accepts water, mineral spirits and turpentine application. The white surface is perfect for underpainting techniques. While primarily it is best used with pastels, this surface is compatible with oil sticks, oil media and colored pencils. The thin and lightweight surface makes it perfect for plein-air. Acid & lignin free.

  • Thickness: 0.8mm in 320 Grit: Medium/Fine Texture
  • A proprietary ground formulation
  • Surface is compatible with oil sticks, oil media and colored pencils
  • Dimensionally stable and non-warping yet thin and lightweight
  • Acid & lignin-free, neutral pH balanced (Will not yellow)
  • ph factor of 6.7 to 7.0 neutral
  • Accept heavy layers of pastel and can also be used for oils, oil sticks and colored pencil
  • Accepts water, mineral spirit, and turpentine applications
  • Lack of yellowing and the non-forming of wrinkles at the time of the drying
  • Hand inspected to insure quality
