Sustainable California cedar encases each Toison D’or pencil. The Hardtmuth leads are centered within the casing to ensure clean sharpening. Hardtmuth® graphite lead is smooth and doesn’t drag or scratch the paper.
The Gioconda Aquarell Watercolor pencils have a silky smooth laydown and create a rich range of values when used dry. The lead is also water-soluble, so your drawings can take on a watercolor-like effect when used with a wet brush. You can even dip the pencil tip in water to create a super smooth line.
An artist favorite, the 6B Progresso Woodless pencil is made of graphite and coated in lacquer to keep your hands clean. The solid core gives you 5 times more lead than a traditional graphite pencil. To achieve a fine point, you can sharpen the woodless pencil with a handheld or electric sharpener. The leftover shavings are perfect for adding dark smudges to backgrounds.
