While most commercial lithography ink is petroleum-based, causing a low pigment load, Gamblin’s Portland Litho Black lithography ink is formulated with high-quality burn plate oil, from linseed oil. This formulation creates an artist’s grade lithography color that features a high pigment load for rich, detailed printing with plates or stone lithography. Richer than standard process blacks, Portland Litho Black is made to meet the long-unanswered demands of printmakers working in stone and plate.
