Developed in collaboration with the National Gallery of Art, Gamvar goes on water-clear, stays water-clear and can be easily and safely removed with Gamsol. Gamsol relaxes stiff oil paints and is the best solvent for cleaning brushes and palette knives because it is odorless and non-hazardous! When your oil painting is completely dry and paint is firm to the touch, preserve and protect it by brushing a thin layer of semi-gloss Gamvar on top.
