Faber-Castell Polychromos Tin Set of 60 Colored Pencils, Assorted Colors
The vegetable oil-based pencils exhibit a richness of color and smoothness that is unparalleled by any other brand, without the ugly wax bloom that develops with layering, like other popular brands on the market. The barrel houses a 3.8mm diameter, SV bonded lead that is both water-resistant and smudge proof, with the bonding providing breakage-resistance with accidental dropping or rough sharpening. This pencil works beautifully on textured and smooth papers, sanded pastel papers and boards, wood, and even fabric.
