They have 14" long handles that force you to back up from your painting and look at the composition instead of focusing on the details. The Chungking hog hair is excellent for painting with thinned oils or acrylics on a big scale. You can create a splatter effect by loading the brush with fluid acrylics and flicking the handle to cause paint to splash on the canvas.
