“I began oil painting in my 20’s but set it aside as I moved around, had a grueling career, and just picked it up again. I have never loved using solvents but I love oils best of all mediums. When I was browsing Jerry’s website I saw this Lavender Spike Oil essence as a solvent, what? Very intriguing. First I bought the sample cube box to try it out and I was immediately sold and bought the larger bottles of both the essence and the brush cleaner. First of all IT WORKS. I use this to thin my paint a bit and the cleaner to clean the brushes. I think it works better than other odorless thinners I’ve tried. I love the smell, it’s fresh and clean and doesn’t give you a headache and I don’t worry about people or pets and fumes. It may be more expensive but in my opinion SO worth it.”
