Indulge your palette with an extra dollop of Schmaltz™, the best ingredient for shiny, glossy artwork! Schmaltz™ is a full-fat, solvent-free synthetic resin gel made of high quality alkyds and oils. Add it to your paint to create luminous, transparent full-bodied colors. The buttery gloss gel retains brush strokes and dries quickly, which makes it perfect for impasto effects and glazes. Pair with StudioSolv™ to reduce viscosity if a more leveled look is desired. Key Features: * Quick drying impasto gel * Increases shine and volume * Speeds up drying time * Improves transparency and gloss * Retains brush strokes and peaks * Contains linseed oil, safflower oil, and clear alkyd Perfect For: * Oil painters * Mixing luminous, transparent colors * Impasto effects and glazes * Speeding up drying time * Making your artwork Schmaltzy! Why the name Schmaltz? We were inspired by the Yiddish word for rendered chicken fat when developing this particular resin gel. Not only does it look a lot like its culinary cousin it also adds a luminous impact when mixed with oils. Please don't get confused! We know it looks delicious, but you should never eat your art supplies or use them in the kitchen! See More -

Matisse Derivan Screen Printing Ink has been formulated as a safe, non-toxic silk screen printing ink for fabric and tie-dyeing. It can be used in the classroom or at home safely without the worry of being exposed to harmful solvents such as white spirits, turps or thinners. Matisse Derivan Screen Printing Ink is water-based and washes up in water (before it is heat set) but has excellent rub resistance and lightfastness once heat set. All the colours may be intermixed to form bright secondary and tertiary colours. White (Opaque) may be mixed if pale pastel opaque prints are desired on dark colored fabrics. The Screen Reducer is a thick milky colored paste which dries colorless and transparent. It is used for intermixing with standard printing colours in order to extend deep colours into pale or lighter transparent shades (Red into transparent pink, etc.). It is mainly for white or pale fabrics. Best results are obtained from absorbent fabrics; avoid waterproof fabrics as they tend to inhibit penetration and repel the water-based colors. Clean up is a breeze! Simply wast all utensils, brushes and hands with soap and water to clean up! Key Features: * Water-based screen printing ink * Non-toxic * Clean up with soap and water * Excellent rub resistance * High lightfastness ratings Perfect For: * Use on absorbent fabrics, such as cotton, bamboo and hemp * Easy and safe to use on delicate fabrics; such as swimwear, baby wear and undergarments * Screen printing on dark colored fabrics See More -
