Egg Tempera Binder - Contains egg, gum arabic and vegetable oil. Provides a flexible consistency when mixed with with dry pigments. The paint film will be smooth, but will not be able to be reworked with water as with traditional egg tempera—but this allows you to build up layers easily. Thin with water.
Gouache Binder - Made from natural gum, glycerine, water and a stabilizing preservative. Formulates a brilliant, matte, opaque paint that may be reworked with water within a few days of application. Thin with water. May be used with a final varnish for protection.
Oil Binder - This binder is made from a non-yellowing vegetable oil and contains a lead-free drying agent that alows the paint depth to dry evenly from the base to the surface. May be gradually mixed in varying proportions according to the pigment.
Watercolor Binder - Contains gum arabic, honey, water and a preservative. When mixed with dry pigments, it provides a smooth, water-soluble paste with a viscous consistency. Mix with 5-10% water to increase fluidity, while maintaining brilliancy and transparency. It may also be used to thin pre-mixed paints.
