The Logan #650 Mat Cutter has a heavy particle board base with a smooth durable surface and a high-Tech Teflon coated cutting bar that requires no lubrication and has a serrated bottom to keep mats in place while cutting. it has a fully scaled 27" squaring arm to hold mats perfectly square and squaring angle stops for precise sizing of mat boards, even in volume.
Also included is a short squaring arm, perfect for jobs where the 27" size is not needed. The maintenance-free dual-sided cutting head glides on the cutting rail and performs flawlessly at all times. One side is a straight cutting head and the other creates a perfect bevel. The bevel cutter has a thumb rest for fatigue when cutting lots of mats. For production cutting, the 650 has 8" movable stops, offering precise calibration and control, plus a mat width cutting guide that allows you to set borders up to 5-1/4" without the use of any other measuring device. Just set the production stops and the mat guide and you're be ready to cut multiple mats of the same size without making any adjustments. An automatic locking device keeps cuts sure and true. Measuring 45.25" long, the 650 will cut up to a 40" opening in just one pass.
Designed by Logan to work exclusively with Simplex mat cutters, the V-Groover lets you cut clean, crisp cornered V-grooves without overcuts. Set your V-groove widths from 1/32" to 5/64" of an inch with ease. Made to last with an all metal construction, the V-Groover Comes with a cutting head, an adjustable stop with inch and metric scales, practice mat boards, 6 blades and fully illustrated instructions.
